2MAD goes to Las Vegas

2MAD is a belgian dance crew that just entered the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Las Vegas.

Dragons Film followed them on their way to the semi finals.

Cairano 7 X

Cairano, the village of my birth, is a magical place, full of History and the poetry of its landscapes and so I wanted to help it become better known from the outside.

Last year, in close cooperation with the local authorities and thanks especially to the commitment of its inhabitants, hosts, actors and privileged spectators all at the same time, I was able to set up the Festival Cairano 7 X, a really diverse cultural event through which, in meetings and exchanges, each individual can express the spirit of the village and its region.

This year, for the second time, from 20th to 27th June, photographers, architects, cooks, film directors, writers, musicians, all well-known in their field, were able to discover the village through its shortcuts and backstreets. They gave conferences, concerts, even cooking workshops, all in a climate of welcome and openness facilitating interaction between the inhabitants and their visitors.

Would you too like to discover the scent of summer on the hills of Campania, to learn about “la paesologia”, to participate in these encounters?
Then a trip is called for.

Franco Dragone’s interview

The time has come! Mons will be a European Capital of Culture in 2015

The selection panel for the European Capitals of Culture for 2015 recommended that Mons become one of the two cities to share this title, the European Commission indicated in a press release on Tuesday.

Formal designation by the European Council will occur in November 2010.

Mons was the only candidate city for this honour for Belgium, although its selection was not automatic; it had to meet criteria verified by an independent committee of 13 experts, including six appointed by Belgium and seven by the European authorities, the Commission noted.

The Franco Dragone Entertainment Group supports the “Mons 2015” project and will participate concretely in this beautiful adventure.

Un Ange à la mer

Frédéric Dumont’s film, produced by Dragons Films and Franco Dragone, Un ange à la mer, was awarded with the Crystal Globe for best film as well as the Prix de l’Association Internationale des ciné-clubs. Olivier Gourmet received the award for best actor in a leading role.
