The stage adaptation of the adventures of Kung Fu Panda, the hero of the famous animated film from DreamWorks Studios, has been entrusted to the Franco Dragone Entertainment Group teams. The project has been in the management phase for several months, and a major work session took place a couple of weeks ago in La Louvière.

It’s a creative workshop with an audience.

The countdown until the opening has now started and the entire crew is working hard to prepare “The House of Dancing Water”.

Franco Dragone Entertainment Group et Tempora elaborate the concept of the new Memorial of Waterloo. The visitor will be notably invited to live again the fight of June 18, 1815 through a series of projections in three dimensions.

In Brussels, between Christmas and New Year, more than 70,000 of you, from all around the world, accepted the idea of a fundamental challenge: that of both meeting and discovery.

Your 70,000 confident, generous and attentive faces allowed us to present “KDO !” in its true colours: those of a Christmas show of course, but above all of an authentic meeting with ourselves.

In this mythical and unlikely setting of Forest National, which ordinarily witnesses other theatre and music hall stories, the presence of each one of you helped to reweave the thread of a tradition that appeared to be lost: the art of being together.

Thank you for proving to us that our faith was not unfounded.

On behalf of all those who devoted themselves to the creation and success of “KDO !”, I wish you a very happy 2010.

And because you said you wanted to mark this date in your diaries, please accept this early invitation to join us in the depths of this coming December. In the conviviality of the holiday season, together we will happily open a new “KDO !”, wrapped with the care we take to surprise our friends…

The House of Dancing Water

The title of the show that Franco Dragone Entertainment Group is producing for 2010 for Melco Crown Entertainment in the “City of Dreams” in Macau (China) has been disclosed Wednesday, November 18th : “The House of Dancing Water”.

Kung Fu Panda

The Franco Dragone Entertainment Group launches a new live show, Kung Fu Panda. This stage adaptation of the film will be made in close collaboration with and at the request of DreamWorks Animation.

Ann Daly, Chief Operating Officer of DreamWorks, stated: “Working with Franco Dragone is a very exciting prospect for us. We feel that the combination of the creativity of the Franco Dragone Entertainment Group and DreamWorks animation will be translated in a novel entertainment experience for a family audience.”

The show is currently being developed and is scheduled for 2011.
